Stephanie is a marine biologist and artist focused on ocean conservation through community engagement, science-based practices, and innovative technologies. Stephanie draws from her science and art backgrounds to creatively distill complex scientific concepts and communicate ocean narratives. She has a Masters degree from Scripps Institution of Oceanography in Marine Biodiversity and Conservation, and BA degrees from Denison University in Biology and Studio Art. While in the Florida Keys, Stephanie worked with the Coral Restoration Foundation to scale restoration and education programs. Later, as Program Director with the Waitt Institute, she focused on policy and stakeholder-driven ocean zoning in the Caribbean. Now, in her role with the The Ocean Agency Stephanie draws on her extensive science diving, design skills, teaching experience and program management to facilitate partnerships and develop outreach programs around the world to achieve conservation and climate action.
